Hamilton County is a community with high standards. I believe in collaborative government. The whole community wins if the County, cities, townships, and towns work together.
As your representative, I have supported Public Safety and the organizations and professionals who serve us, worked to improve and maintain our roads and transportation infrastructure, backed economic development initiatives that have a positive impact on our community and made strides in dealing with the opioid epidemic.
About Me
It has been an honor to serve you on the Hamilton County Council this past term. We have delivered excellent County services, kept our tax rate flat, made achievements in road infrastructure improvements, and kept Hamilton County one of the safest places to live in America.
Now, I am running for reelection to continue my work on your behalf. I never forget that this is your County and your County Council. I would be honored by your continued trust to accomplish the important work we are doing together to keep Hamilton County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Family
- Married to Tom Kapostasy for 41 years. Tom is retired and now an active volunteer for PrimeLife Enrichment, Meals on Wheels, Master Gardeners and Orchard Park Church.
- Two adult sons and one daughter-in-law.
- Host parent to seven exchange students from around the world.

- Retired from the Carmel Utilities, Manager of Environmental Initiatives & Education, 2006-2021.
- Executive Director, Hamilton County Leadership Academy, 2000-2003.
- Eighteen years of increasing responsibility in the Insurance industry. Mainly with Fortune 500 companies in management capacities.
